The Defender 90 is the three door, short wheelbase version and is easier to manoeuvre in town. The Defender 110 has five doors, more rear legroom and a bigger boot, which makes it the better choice for families. Both share the same off road technology.
Look underneath for scrapes on the sills and underbody, check for sand in the engine bay and wheel arches, and ask whether the car has been used for dune driving. Our inspection includes an underbody check, and we will tell you what we found before you decide.
The Range Rover Sport is larger, offers more powerful engines and is stronger off road. The Velar is smaller and lighter, with a focus on design and city comfort. If you mostly drive in Dubai and rarely leave the tarmac, the Velar is often all you need.
